Statham is definitely closer to being a real hardman than say Danny Dyer, but they’re both Mockney poseurs really.

I believe on O&A he said he used to sell gold chains out of a suitcase on the street before he was "discovered." Smells like bullshit but he definitely had a practiced pitch about you wanna buy a gold chain? I don't think he's good enough of an actor to have memorized something like that for no reason other than to provide a back story.
