I know someone who is a director at a large climate charity, she couldn’t tell me one thing they’ve actually done that helps anybody or achieves anything for the climate that didn’t sound like made up business speak. She was rich and I couldn’t see anything they did beyond raise money to pay themselves and their partners large salaries to keep the doors open to raise money to keep paying them.

I cynically imagine every charity is the same. If you’re a charitable person, donate to the needy in your life directly, or just help people out when they need it.
