I liked him on Stern but the voice is grating. “Shakes the Clown” sounds like it’s worth checking out. He wrote and directed “God Bless America” which is one of the more bizarrely dark comedy movies I’ve ever seen. Might check out his stand up but there’s a lot of yelling. He hated Kinison and Seinfeld which is funny.

That movie was corny. Haven't seen Shakes but remember Howard bashing it.

He's a better filmmaker than a comedian. I can't think of a movie he wrote and directed I didn't absolutely love.
