Basically at the beginning of the year they release the logo for The Super Bowl and going back a while the colors in the numbers are the teams that end up in the game. Next year is all blue so it looks like Bills/Lions. It’s been true the last 4 years. My cousin didn’t know how far back and I wanted to slap him for showing me TikTok videos. I just had to look it up.

The "hip-drop tackle," something no one ever heard of until a few years ago, is particularly egregious. The refs have been told not to call it, because it has too many elements and they will probably get it wrong in the moment. The league office just fines the defensive player for something the refs never called even if it doesn't cause an injury after analyzing the tackle on tape.

Well, if the refs can't get the call right in the moment because it's too complicated, why are the defensive players expected to tackle within those rules in the moment?

Also, when you get fined for tackling from behind, you make sure that you tackle from the front. Thus the defense plays 2 High even in situations where it's not as warranted. What do you get? More running plays. More dink and dunk passes. Way fewer of those amazing deep-ball catches that the NFL wants so badly for TV ratings.

Now that most of the ads are viewable days before the game it really made those obsolete.

I'd love to see how many of the commercials this year feature mixed race couples, gay couples, trans couples, and other woke ideological aspects to the commercial. Like everything else today.
