It depends on what exactly happened, and if the membership find out.

If Pat was given the money as a loan, and he (somehow) pays it back with interest as their Grievance Committee rules state; then maybe they get away with it. As long as they make a profit it can be fairly sketchy and I think they'll still let her slide with just a warning.

If it's a gift, and the membership find out, then she's fucked. The SFWA are a voluntary union, they don't seem to do much for their membership judging by their website, and if they're taking member's money to give to their friends... that's bad. Plus, I think the IRS would be interested. Plus, they have to list what they do with their money on their filing to the IRS, so we should be able to see exactly what went on that way.

I don't think Pat's final blow to the SFWA has fallen yet, ftalker.

We have them from previous years. Theyre in the red every year. They were wildly underfunded last few years. Someone on here was talking about it the other day. How the sfwa may literally go bankrupt from Fatrick as well. I think it said they only made like 150k$ yearly or some shit
