If Pat was this amazing writer, but still an insufferable autistic prick, would you hate him less?

Yes, because it'd be one redeeming quality. He has zero. He contributes nothing to society other than toxicity. He is a complete net negative on this world. If he atleast wrote books well enough where he didn't need to suck on the government tit it would atleast be something to respect.

I would absolutely hate him less. There's musicians I think are total fucking sacks of shit as people that I don't hate because they're talented. They're good at the one thing they do. Pat's good at nothing and therefore good for nothing. I don't even think he'd be a good dollar store cashier or pizza boy or anything, but those are jobs that you don't even have to be good at and I'd respect him for doing one of those jobs instead of attempting to do one that requires talent.

Fuck, there's tradesmen I know who I'd like to punch in the fucking mouth every time they speak but they're so good at their job I have to respect them.

David Simon is the creator of The Wire, The Deuce, and other great shows, and he's an absolute faggot on Twitter. He has a Pat-like catchphrase, "in Baltimore we sell schmucks like you for parts", which he uses constantly.

I do think David Simon is overrated and that Ed Burns is the real genius behind The Wire. Ed Burns left the show before the final season, which was absolutely atrocious and almost ruined the series, with that fake serial killer season-long ark.

A net negative means his negatives offset his positives. He is an absolute negative, udderly useless except for milk

He could be the guy who made the early 2000s Battlestar Galactica (that's the only Sci-Fi thing I ever liked, my wife got me into it) and I'd still want to light him up.

Fuck pigeon holing him into sci-fi, he could be the guy who made the shining, Casino and the first Brendan Fraser MUMMY (that's my favorite movie of all time) and I'd still want to punch him.

I mean I'd still go see his movies because I enjoyed them, as long as the mummy's name is still Imhotep and not Ronald Plump.

But I'd still fucking dunk on his Twitter.
