Joe, your Check will be zero not because of Democrats but because you didn’t pay in since you spent the last 40 years refusing to get a job.

Joe is not eligible for Social Security nor Medicare. He simply did not pay enough into the system. Minimum payment is 40 credits. You get about 4 credits a year, so Joe never worked a real job for 10 years. All those years of "cheating the man" by taking cash payments and not paying taxes is all fun and games until you hit 65. Now he has nothing. I'm the same age. I get $3,500 a month, plus Medicare, plus pension, plus medical for life. So Joe is now staring into the void and that void looks like a guitar case full of quarters until the day he dies.

And he will blame Joe Biden / Kamala Harris for it even if Trump wins.

Boomers are getting $3500 a month from SS??? No wonder that shits going to be insolvent and future generations won't get any. I thought it was a couple hundred bucks to make sure grandma isn't eating dog food

That is the top amount possible at my age. I paid in for 40 years with most of them being near the top end of contributions. 40 years in the work force. I now have a pension and free medical for life from my previous employer plus Social Security. House is paid for, giant 401K, brokerage account due to where I live I will stop paying the majority of my property taxes that goes to schools. I earned every nickle of it and the part that really, really makes me happy is Joe's cruise check had Federal taxes deducted including FICA...which is a contribution to Social Security that is a mandatory deduction but since Joe is not eligible he will never get back. Instead, that money will help pay for my benefits. Sweet.

I don't believe it's even debated that most retirees collect more in ss benefits than they put in

I'm at work on my cell phone so not going to bother pulling up the articles, so I acknowledge I'm making a claim without anything to back it up

But if Brotha Joe worked at a supermarket for a few decades, about how much would he get a month?

This isn’t directed to you personally, but how the fuck is this system sustainable?

I’m speaking metaphorically because the answer is it isn’t and it won’t be around much longer, but it’s crazy how old people have fucked the young in every possible way.

“I paid into it all my life so I deserve it” is a fair statement but not really since on average you get your money back plus 10% after 6 years and it lasts indefinitely and is funded by kids paying into it, when they won’t get anything.

I really can’t stop sperging on this, old people got cheap or free education, an easy job market, cheap houses that 50x in value doing nothing, they get incredibly generous pensions which nobody else will, and then we still have to give them old people discounts and make sure their social security is funded but only just for them.

I know life isn’t fair, and I don’t care I’ll just deal with it and I would have done the same as most boomers, but they have to still act like they are the victims. Why are they never just honest?

“Yeah we had it easy and I took advantage, like anybody would have” or in Joe’s case “I could have been set for life with no effort but I still couldn’t do it because I’m lazy”

Sweet karma at the idea of the professional leech and thief finding out the little he paid into SS has been leeched from and stolen from him.

I mean what the fuck are we talking about? 75% of tax income is spent on interest payments to the debt.

One trillion seconds is 33,000 years. If you travelled back to the dawn of humanity and saved millions daily you wouldn’t be able to pay back our debt.

Boomers take it so personally, like we’re saying they were lazy and had it handed to them, we’re saying they worked no harder than anybody else but the conditions were such that you didn’t have to do anything but a paint by numbers route to being middle class. That does not exist anymore and it never will again, they were in a distinctly unique period where you could become a millionaire by just going to work 5 days a week.

What’s funny is Joe probably could have had some kind of part time “day” job and do his music nonsense on the weekends all this time and have paid in while also pretending to be a rock star on the weekends. But Joe saw any normal job as beneath him because he’s a very special musician so now he’s in his 60s and will be getting nothing from SS

Also worth noting that Joe couldn’t get a regular day job because he is a criminal and has openly bragged about stealing from his workplace. Also look at how much health ailments Joe complains about…fuckin old man. He wouldn’t last a week stocking shelves before his back goes out and he throws a fit. Would also be WILDLY inappropriate to customers with 0 awareness. Would also 1000% shit on his coworkers and bosses on his public facebook where they could all see. Would not take responsibility for anything I just listed.

Now I don’t know where you’re from in the country and I won’t ask but knowing Joe he’s been seeing the senior citizens at the AC casinos gambling in the daytime for decades. Those seniors pay to keep the lights on as they say and Joe has been waiting all his life to hit SS age so he can hit the casinos every week (and brag on social media about it) with his big fat monthly check from being 65. He’s gonna be in for a real rude awakening when he finds out his bum work ethic and leech behavior is paying him shit in his golden years.

Another boomery factor here is Joe has posted literally hundreds of problematic statements under his own name online over the years.

Being a 66 year old from Long Island really did mean Joe lived through a magical time for wealth creation. The dudes he smoked weed with in high school who became bus drivers are selling their little long island ranch houses for almost a million and moving down south to buy mcmansions

I’m from Florida. I’ve been to the casinos down here and I see a lot of what Joe sees. Lotta retirees but what Joe isn’t seeing is that these dudes are already well off not counting their SS. They’re also not complete fucking retards who blow their whole stack in 30 minutes and have to leave empty handed…every time. He’s just such a classic deadbeat boomer ITALIAN.

I was wondering who would have a harder time getting hired at Walmart - Ant or Joe?
