To the point that I'm sure I sound really stupid. In conversation with my friends, everything I say is punctuated with "fuckin'" and a lot of sentences end with "and shit". My parents have both called me on it and several women I've dated have brought it up. When I notice myself doing it I just think I have to sound like an idiot. If I overhear someone talking like that in a restaurant or something, even if they're not being loud or anything I assume that they're an obnoxious dumbass.

Growing up, I was conditioned from listening to FM-regulated radio to barely ever curse... So I trained myself to make people loff without working blue.

Satellite radio ruined all that for me. Now it's a struggle for me to not drop 4-letter words. I hate this instinct within me that convinces me that saying FUCK is going to make my point for me, or emphasize my statement.

I was also NEVER the type to unironically call someone "dude" or "bro" but I do it constantly now just from it becoming so common and Fake Relatable.

I much prefer cursing at work, because it sounds unprofessional but it happens so rarely that it's a nice little vacation from the monotony. Saying "bro" and "dude" at work just makes you sound like a drunk school-dropout retard who should be a day laborer smoking 2 packs a day and drinking 1 case a night.
