I've never seen an episode that I can remember because I was a baby when it was on, but I seen this episode being broadcast the other day on some random antenna station nearby.

What a dumb show in general, are all the episodes this trash? I remember one of my uncle's watching this shit when I was a kid as I snuck into his room to read his porno mags he had hidden under his bed.

The first season was genuinely very good. It got pretty ridiculous later on and had more than a couple of dream episodes set in olden times

My grandma gave me an 8-hour VHS of episodes when I was a kid. Had all the really good ones, like the one where he makes a flamethrower to defeat army ants, or when he makes a small plane out of duct tape and bamboo. Great times. When MacGyver made a laser to find the Holy Grail, I thought it was the coolest shit ever. But yeah, there were a lot of shitty filler episodes where nothing much happens.
Oh yeah, the one where he escapes a prison by freezing the bars with freon from an old fridge, that was clever.
Spoiler tags because you probably want to be surprised if you haven't seen them already. It can be a great show, even if Abe isn't in every episode.
