Harry Turtledove wrote some real ass books. He has one where a white supremacist travels back in time and gives the Confederates AK-47s. He also wrote a really long series (7+ books) where the South wins the Civil War and Hitler's equivalent ends up being from the Confederacy. He doesnt succeed but, ya know, he puts up some numbahs. What I'm saying is it's nice to imagine sometimes.
