There's an entire genre of Youtube video's that are like
" THE TEMPTATIONS SING POOPOO BUTT DOODIE "
" RARE RECORDING FRANKIE VALLI CLASSIC SONG APPLE BOTTOM JEANS "
Oh haha, I get it. Because people wouldn't sing like that in the 50s and 60s, that's super funny

There's multiple channels that do it and the videos are always the same boring concept, rarely with any actual funny lyrics or something that would resemble a joke. The people who make them also suck at making the AI sound good singing.

I think there was one guy making like 10 second vids of artists singing that dumb "doing your mom" song a couple years back. Those actually sounded decent and was a cute little bit.

I have to assume the trend you're referring to is a poor imitation of that.
