Fully agree that tv & film actors want a salary cap and knocking down several pegs, not gassing up as if they're demigods walking among us.


I used to work and study in a studio that also offered actor training, and from the hundred aspirant AC-tors I met, it's safe to say they're all either lazy morons or canny sociopaths, desperate for attention. Many of them are 'on' all the time when you talk to them, like comics.

And they're all giving each other the clap on a weekly rotation schedule. It was like Fire Island in June. Or the set of Fame without the edgy people or the interesting drama. Perhaps when you cluster half-decent looking egomaniacs in a room, that's the natural outcome though.
