I've said it before, but any time you mention anything remotely political, 50% of people will disagree no matter what it is. 50% of those people will make serious judgements against you and consider you less of a person. If you remain neutral and you sound intelligent, people will inwardly think that you probably agree with their politics even if you think they are retarded. It is never advantageous to talk politics about anybody, and it is something you cannot control. Even if Trump manages to win this election, the demographic change is already way past the point of no return. The USA is going to turn into Canada. It is not something you can control, but rather something you must plan for. Part of that planning involves not talking about politics, and erasing any traceable mention of "hate speech" or anything else that could fuck you in 10 years if anybody tries to dig into your life.

My sister has it bad and I’ve come to realise it’s the result of a lifetime of indoctrination and brainwashing and you can’t counter act it. Nothing you can say, show or do will change anything.
They’ve done studies on it, their brains literally shut down when shown information they disagree with, it’s like trying to make someone listen to a song they aren’t interested in.
There’s no point losing family members over it, just feign indifference and talk about anything else.
