No. Right now the cops are like, "now don't you go protesting fellas, because it might actually make it look like we can't do anything about it."

The last protest in Melbourne, the news said "well there's hundreds of --" well, no, it was thousands. And the cops were clueless because they know they can't arrest everybody.

And down here... all the cops are kangaroos with guns. They're stronger and faster than men, and can't be reasoned to or bargained with.

Legitimate questions, what percentage of people there are good with all this government overreach? Are we talking 30% or more? We're seeing tons of video here that does show you can't go more than 5 KM from home is that true, or are there a lot of ways around this?

I'm not in Sydney, but this weekend there were many people hanging out on Bondi Beach without masks. That's been on social media.

I think a lot of what people outside of Australia hears is propaganda, like it's some ruthless police state. It's true to an extent and the cops are witless pigs, but they couldn't handle the protests in Melbourne. The police told the media to stop covering any lockdown protests because of the negative publicity... well, I don't know if the police are stronger than the media.

To repeat: a lot of it is propaganda, and I think it's designed to demoralize everybody here, and everybody who isn't here. "This is what we can do". They cover up the protests because it shows that the cops are outnumbered and are actually pathetic should there be an upheaval.

I don't hate Americans outside of Milwaukee, but I cringe when Americans are like, "oh man, those Aussies don't have any rights." Well, I guess we don't, but we're not replacing medical staff en masse with military. Not to my knowledge, anyway. I have friends who work in hospitals who haven't taken the jab, and they haven't even been question, let alone pressured.

Our saving grace is that once this shit is over, we'll be the ones done with it, and then the rest of the English-speaking world will see us as an example. But right now, a lot of this shit is just an inconvenience. "Wear a mask here, but you don't have to wear a mask if you're drinking coffee." It's retarded. But... I don't know. Maybe enough proactive people will just get doctor's notes saying they don't have to wear masks in public any more.

To answer you more directly... I dunno, there are poofters on social media saying "just get the jab", I don't think you can't leave your house to go shopping or to work or whatever... I mean for fuck's sake, I don't think the oil companies would tolerate a "don't let people drive long distances" mandate for long.

So... it's hard to say what's going on.
