Like most movies I never watched it. I've purposely avoided everything involving Jack Black because he's just so annoying.

I think shallow Hal is the only movie of his I've seen. Actually enjoyed it, but it's been decades

Tenacious D isn't nearly as good as Weird Al, Spinal Tap, Dethklok, Steel Panther, Dread Zeppelin, or Richard Cheese. So at best, they're maybe the seventh best parody band in the USA. That's just sad.
