Hollywood's latest It Boy beats up his girlfriend

Dude's the villain in the latest Ant Man and Creed III. Earlier in the month they had a big PR campaign to push him and Michael B Jordan as the "new" Pacino & DeNiro who'll have a long storied career full of tons of iconic films.

What this also means is if you're a decent person and refuse to accept Ant Man and Creed III as films because they star a woman-beating asshole, the highest grossing movie of 2023 is now Scream VI!

Hollywood just keep taking Ls.

the fact that they were hyping this guy and I don't even recognize him (or vaguely do) is telling.

They were reallllllly propping this guy up. He was supposed to be the big huge supervillain of the current Marvel arc, like the next Thanos where they need 7 movies and 10 superheroes to finally bring him down.

Marvel really can't catch a break with black guys. First Terrance Howard is so cunty on Iron Man they replace him. Then Black Panther fucking DIES out of nowhere. Now their chosen boy can't stop himself from smacking some sense into his chick.

Just wanted to share this article too if you don't know who he is. Peak pretentiousness, even the internet was making fun of its "we can easily do what Pacino & Deniro did" arrogance.

That’s why there has been a bit of kerfuffle in the wake of a New York Times interview with Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors. They let us know what they were thinking, comparing themselves to Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in estimations of what they are capable of achieving.

“The way you two talk about each other, it sounds like this is the first of many collaborations to come,” said Times interviewer Kyle Buchanan.

Jordan confirmed that. “It is. We plan on it.”

Majors took it one step further. “De Niro and Pacino.”

Jordan didn’t dampen that thought.

“We’re excited about that, and I have those conversations with him. Acting is such a solo journey, where you’re fighting for your place on that call sheet for such a long time. So when you’ve got somebody that doesn’t care as much about that stuff, it’s like, ‘Let’s go. How much damage can we do together?’

Majors responds, “All of it.”
