I cannot get over the fact that this asshole takes a laptop (with wireless mouse no less) to a bar and sets up there to do his writing. Like if you're going to write in a bar, then at least find a quiet corner and don't sit right up front like an attention seeking little bitch. Are those fucking headphones to the left of it too??

The other two chutes deployed as normal, but the streaming lines from the ruined chute tangled between them even as the sarcophagus continued to spin. Overspeed and terrain proximity alarms filled the tiny coffin Stanton occupied as if they'd become choking liquid in their own rights.
And to top off the shit sandwich, she was being painted with enemy range-finding lasers again.

Canisters of flares and retroreflectors erupted from ridges on the outside of the hull and spread out in an enormous "V" hoping to distract or dazzle anything coming her way. They were passive and either worked or they didn't, it was out of her hands. Stanton returned her fractured focus to....

I spent a shit ton of time in college trying to reach word counts for papers I didnt give a shit about and its a truly miserable thing to do. There is true solace knowing this fuck is experiencing a neverending capstone, the shittiest part of college.

It took him 10 years to publish the first novel that he started working on, which was called A Hole in the Fence or something. He added a bunch of shit to make it more topical and renamed it Gate Crashers.

He'll do the same with all trash that he's churning out now. He'll keep shopping it around and repurposing to fit the current trends, changing the main character to a gay squid or whatever. But he's going to keep getting older and fatter, so I don't think publishers will overlook how bad this is and give him a chance like they did when he was a "publishing young writer".
