Good lord is he a fucking mess. First off, who is saying men don’t add anything to parenthood? Is this from society crying anything male is “toxic” and should be removed meaning men can’t be good parents? Just look at crime in the black community related to men not being in their kids lives to see how that worked out.

He’s trying so hard to sound like he’s some big tough guy but revealing he’s not. His “idea” of men is fury, being horny all the time and…being hungry? Everybody needs to eat and Pat eats too much. We’ve seen his “fury” which sounds like an over dramatic woman, he’s married to his roommate that seems to be void of any sexual attraction, and hungry…well he sure does eat. I guess in his mind it’s ok to be fat because he’s a BIG MAN and BIG MEN NEED TO EAT, CHILD!

Someone on Kiwifarms made a good point about his "fury" and claims of being a competitive martial artist. The genre of science-fiction is closely related to action sequences: lightsaber battles, set phasers to stun, Doctor Who fighting robots who want to exterminate humankind, etc. Some sort of conflict that requires cool future weapons. Whenever he tries to sound like big fighting tough guy it always comes off clunky and awkward. I compare it to the poker scene in “40 Year Old Virgin” where Steve Carrell’s character tries to keep up with the guys taking about sex only to make it very obvious he’s full of shit and a virgin. Pat just repeats whatever he’s seen in movies and tv in relation to him going out and shutting down anyone who dares to get out of line in HIS bar. He even thinks if he sees any of us in public is he free to assault us and the police will wait until he’s finished “dishing out Justice” before moving in to arrest us for crimes that don’t exist while letting Pat walk away the hero to cheering crowds and Foo Fighters “My Hero” playing as the credits roll.
