I never thought I'd ever say this, but I was fucking around on Disney+ and watched an episode of American Dad called "rabbit ears". That episode was genuinely creepy, like scarier than the majority of horror films.

There was also a similar creepy thing in aqua teen hunger force where their TV is possessed and shows the deaths of the characters. That was creepy but not "stay with you" creepy. The American Dad one stayed with me.

The cacophonous bad-trip ending of the "Pink Elephants" montage in Dumbo scared me when I was a baby, according to my parents. Assholes should have known that babies and movies don't mix, this wasn't the 1920s. No offense, Abe.

This episode was at the end of a VHS I had (a quick search says it was Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders) so I ended up watching it a whole bunch, probably more than any other Courage episode.

Never seen that but read the book. Lol in hindsight that's a pretty fucked up scene, I can image it'd be worse on film.
