He's a black guy with down syndrome and he looks like a tiny gorilla. He's hardcore retarded but you can barely tell because he's a Southern black kid and all his friends sound more retarded than he does. His life is a lot like Fat Albert. He has a funny gang of friends. There's his cousin Flash, who winds him up and fucks with him. There's Fleetwood, his old neighbor or uncle or something who also winds him up and fucks with him. And there's Tall Pine, his imaginary friend who Yay Yay beats up, shoots dead with a finger gun and blames things on. All the others interact with Tall Pine and include him in conversations and activities and it's honestly kind of adorable. Yay Yay is also terrified of all dogs, including 8 week old puppies and shi tzus, so naturally, his friends chase him with dogs so he freaks out.

Yay Yay is 1000× better off than Chef Adam Libby because his friends and family just treat him like everyone else so he's not stuck at 5 years old mentally and he has a sense of humor. Yay Yay is maybe the only retard I don't hate.
