I went to the seed place with my farmer father in law last week while he settled some business. We show up and there's a circle of 5 mid 20s women talking and smoking cigs. If you don't know, the best reason to go to a seed dealer, implement dealer etc is to roll dice or play cards with the old timers for money and drink Irish coffee. I don't disagree. I do like them compared to most of the Kroger's. Kroger quality is too disparate for me to parse through. I'm not driving 30 minutes one way to go to the nice Kroger. Walmart's are generally hell on Earth except for one in a part of the valley I want to move too. It's shockingly nice, but also 30 minutes or more one way. No trader joes and the local co ops are over priced. We have an Earth Fare but they don't rotate stock good enough. Food Lion (not in the hood) supremacy.

Growing up, Food Lion was the only large grocery store we had in the area. They remodeled a lot of their stores about 10 years ago and it really took the edge off the old lingering 90s trashiness. Good fried chicken too. Worked at a Kroger during college, it sucked, i stole shit constantly
