My Own Private Idaho - not fully gay but lots of gay, it really is great though, also Van Sant's Milk, it's fascinating how well Sean Penn plays a homosexual man (hint, hint), I haven't watched it yet but Taxi Zum Klo looks pretty decent and I hear its a 'gay classic comedy' (I prefer my gay stories to be about an era of shameful closetedness - none of this happy recent rainbow/representation crap).

Anything by John Waters is great.

Go Fish
- solid lesbo drama/comedy

I once watched Thank God It's Friday (utter shit) which had Donna (gay queen who disliked gays) and Bruce (deadname!) Jenner - maybe doesn't count as gay but it was definitely a fag-fest and total shit.

Cabaret - title says it all really, Minelli plays a literal fag-hag (I want to say anything with Liza Minelli in it is gay but Arthur is brilliant, musicals are gay tho...)

Birdcage - Nathan Lane playing Nathan Lane is brilliant

Paris is Burning - interesting doco for its time, bit boring now, the fat drag queen in the movie killed a dude and put him in a suitcase in her closet, they found the body after the drag queen died, mummified, with a note apologising for killing the dude.
