The fact that the supposed swatter telegraphed his move by telling Pat a week before and Pat warned the police about it strongly suggests that it was a false flag. He didn't like being manhandled and cuffed after going through the trouble of prepping the police about his imminent false report.

This is predicated on the idea that Rick isn’t just lying about the voicemail and “warning the police” in order to spruce up the story. It is by no means a “fact”. You’re taking statements from a known liar, cherry picking them as truth, then accusing him of lying overall. He is a known liar and anything he tweets is probably not true. The evidence we have, is that the cops showed up and he is audibly distressed. That’s it.
