Gosling seems to laugh in every skit, I really don't think this is just so people will talk about it, lol. And Gardner is kind of known for never breaking so the fact that she not only did but did so in a big manner is part of why it blew up. If it had been Fallon or Pete Davidson who always break, it wouldn't have the same effect.
