This is something Opie talked about on the show once. How radio is like the WWE. Where one moment two guys are on a tag team together then the next moment one is hitting the other with a steel chair and betraying him. Then years later two guys that hated each other are now friends because it is convenient for their careers.

Getting fired from that dead end Compound Media gig was the best thing that could happen to him. That show had zero exposure and being on the network was doing nothing for him other than jeopardizing his paying radio gig.



The only one that parlayed that show into anything were Flutsey and the mannish looking military chick. (If you can call getting onto the Chipperson show and a job at Gas Digital "parlaying")
