He went from a probation deal to like 3.5 years in prison. If anything showing up to court lends some credence to him having zero control over it. In HS my friends’ bus driver got caught with booze on his breath in the school office one morning. If you think about it, no one is pulling over a school bus. Hiding in plain sight.

Once when I was in fourth grade our bus driver wouldn't handle our antics so she pulled over and called the cops. They came onto the bus and yelled at us.

She was crying. I think she was legitimately overwhelmed and didn't know what else to do. After that our principal rode the bus home with us for the rest of the school year. Bus #4 was a fawkin problem.

It really is. Getting hit with a "I know you're drunk" as you impotently say "no I'm not" is brutal. I liked his lawyers desperate attempt to shut him up here

I don’t think so. You have to assume he was already playing the “I need help” card. All he had to do was shut up, you’re not even supposed to talk in court. I think he thought he could Tomlinson his way out of it.
