It was funny when Dennis Miller did a podcast with Adam Carolla that only lasted ~ 8 episodes. Miller would react to his TV out of nowhere and always leave early.
Also his forced references come from intentional research, not because he's very smart.

Obviously Dennis has had a huge dropoff in recent years and lowering himself to CP Media is possibly rock bottom, but 90s-era Dennis Miller was pretty much untouchable. Dennis Miller Live was must see for a comedy talk show. I'd venture to say no talk show host wrangled Norm better than Dennis.
