From memory, he had a deal for a trilogy of books with Tor - Gay Crashers, Starship Retard... and then when they didn't sell, he switched trilogies to his "Mil-Spec" one - In The Black, In The Red.... wait, they weren't interested in that second one. Trilogy over, thanks for playing.

He's been "on-spec" (unemployed) since December 2019, and it takes 12-18 months for a book to get published (I've checked that with actual Tor authors) and start earning royalties, soooooo....
