I think Joe has said Nick Dipaolo was his mentor very early on so I think once he got tired of that influence he latched onto Mark. Mark is also much funnier in my opinion. Joe also constantly fags out over politics. Their podcast stinks especially now that they’re both successful.

They do like old timey 1940s radio guy voices. Mark Normand's is way more obnoxious with all the fucking "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" shit. I've heard Joe List drop it on YKWD and I think he's actually got a fairly prominent New England accent when he just speaks normally.

Comedians copying someone's cadence isn't uncommon. Lots were imitating Dave Attell in the late 1990s-early 2000s.

I liked how they had to announce halfway through that Jeff Ross just beat cancer so the whole thing would feel more like a make a wish gift and less like a bunch of hasbeens and never-gonna-be’s making shitty pop culture references.
