I love the avatar @JohnnyComeLately, is this game worth playing for a laugh?

Although visually similar to Rare's previous games, such as Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo-Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day was designed for mature audiences and features graphic violence, alcohol and tobacco use, profanity, vulgar humour, and pop culture references. Development lasted four years, with concepts originating during the development of Killer Instinct Gold in 1996. The game, intended for a family audience, was initially titled Twelve Tales: Conker 64 and was set for release in late 1998.

also old games you played/are playing general

Never played it, I was trying to find a way too but got distracted looking up Silent Hill 2 emulators

Were we at with the N64 Emulators and Conkers Roms?

edit: now I remember, I got distracted looking up leisure suite larry, which you can buy for a dollar

Youtube how to fix it,

It’s already broke, worse case scenario you mess up and accidentally make it work again.
Gotta first figure out whats wrong with it. I hadn't touched it in years until a couple months ago when I tried to get Mario Party up for friends to play at a party. Powers on still, but nothing else happens. Figured it just got worn out or something from collecting dust for so long.

By power on, do you get anything on the screen or just the machine shows its on?

edit: try this, i saw someone recommend it

  • Removing the Expansion Pack (original) and putting it back in.
  • To blow on the cartridge and on the machine (not recommended).
  • Different games.
  • Different AV cables (that work on my SNES).
  • Cleaning the connectors on a cartridge with both dry Q-tips and with isopropyl alcohol.
also just from some googling, it could be you needing to set up your tv for the n64, google your tv and if anyone else has issues using a n64 with it

also you may need to open it up and clean the dust out

Just the machine turning on. Not getting anything on the screen. Tried all of these with multiple games except different AV cables. That might be it.

If you have a fagbox one you can get the Rare Replay game and play the superior N64 version
