Going local with this one, in the 80s and early 90s one of the UHF stations around here had a nightly movie every weeknight at 8 pm on the Movie Loft, hosted by Dana Hersey. I could've sworn this guy died of cancer in the mid-late 90s, but I learned recently he's still alive and kicking, and is just as imposingly baritone as ever.
