Since early 2020, there haven't been even a million deaths in the US from Covid that also include comorbidities (roughly 40% already have influenza and pneumonia) which might bring the total toll to 800,000. This means that since it all started, you have roughly 40,000 deaths directly attributed to Covid, which also includes those of advanced age (which is not considered a comorbidity).
