If she's not a lazy pos there should be no noticible smell. It's to a cat's advantage to not smell in the wild, hence why they constantly clean and burry their waste. Five cats would be a bit of work, but mostly if one took 15 minutes a day to clean the litter boxes and ran a vacuum every few days there should be no noticeable odor.
