Here’s a brief summary of my date. So we’ve been talking on tinder for a week. We actually don’t have a mutual day off, but we both work nights so it was great that she was up at the same times as me.

I had to drive through MULTIPLE ROUNDABOUTS. Missing my proper exit THREE times. It was an hour and 10 minute drive.
She loved the flowers. She seemed really surprised that I wasn’t bluffing. She sat down with me, and we held hands. She tried to get me to order 300 dollar champagne. I politely said that was too much for me so I ended up buying her 100 dollars worth of 20 dollar drinks. We spoke about the New York Mets, and how she’s never seen a game. I was telling her what to expect if she went with me, and educated her a bit about how successful the New York Mets are.
She mentioned that she has a kid, which didn’t bother me. She asked how soon I wanted another. I said 5 years. She mentioned that she is from Brazil and that she’s been in the country for a month.
Aside from the Mets I suggested fun places in NJ and NY we might be able to go.
We deleted tinder from our phones together.
Eventually after the drinks were done she kissed me on the cheek and I left.
She eventually ghosted. I had fun. Nothing personal that’s how these things go.
