We know what they're comprised of and no-one buys them thinking "this time tomorrow I'll be as healthy as I was 10 years ago". If you're a dealer and someone falls into a coma over something you sold them it's pretty easy to find you (police or vengeful relatives) and the noise over it is the last thing you want.

I heard this getting kicked around a lot during Covid and getting asked if I trust coke dealers more than the vax. 100% I do. It's not in my dealer's interest for me to die the same way it is for government or the healthcare system. It's one of the most ludicrous platitudes I've ever heard, right next to "I only tolerate people who aren't intolerant" (so 84% of the world then - or 16%......scratch that and reverse it) and it's only because we live in a 140 character culture with no nuance or grey area that this kind of nonsense is allowed to flower
