We give @PogromStallone a hard time here but we love the lil fella. Seems like he will watch an entire show or movie before forming an opinion and writing a review, which is kind of respectable even though it's the same opinion most of us had from watching the trailer or reading a synopsis. We should recommend dogshit movies for him to watch and then have him write a review for us. Throw out some suggestions and I'll make a poll we can vote on.

I'll start with Hudson Hawk. Never seen it, know almost nothing about it.

You down, Poggers?

I've already reviewed trash (most people are on here cause I used to do highly popular book reviews).
I'll watch most anything as long as it looks interesting.

Yeah he’s okay, he’s got shades of being a cunty neet like @Jenna but it’s becoming less prevalent. I like to see people grow, maybe Jenna can stop being a freak himself.

Anyone have any suggestions besides Hudson Hawk? I just thought of the first shitty movie that came to mind. I've never seen it. Genuinely. *sniff*

I was a fan of your book reviews. I always felt a normal book review that dissected Pat’s work would hurt him more than just a random comment about him being fat. But he probably doesn’t have the attention span to read through the whole post.

So I did end up watching Hudson Hawk yesterday and I thought it was great. Felt like a kids film made for adults. Almost in the same vein as Roger Rabbit, without the animation. Earnest over the top performances by talented actors and a Looney Tunes plot with a dash of surrealism. There's also something to be said for how unique it felt, can't really say I've seen many other films like this one. I'd recommend it.

Review seasons 1 2 and 3 of The Guild with Felicia Day. They're about an hour long and did not age well.
I actually watched that back when it was on. Never finished it though, it lost me after a while. I think I was more into how it was about a WoW guild more than the actual execution and presentation of it. This was before nerd things had become mainstream so it really felt like a rarity. I think I dropped it when Wil Wheaton started showing up. The Indian dude in it actually had his own webshow, The Legend of Neil, a Zelda parody that was much better than The Guild but it got nowhere near the attention. It also had a really great musical episode that I still remember some of the songs from.
I had a friend that was really into the Do You Wanna Date My Avatar music video that The Guild did, it came out after I had lost interest in the show and if that's anything to go by, I didn't miss out on anything.

@PogromStallone is a good egg, even when we fight.

You see Monkey Man? Saw it last night, self-congratulatory but respect to Dev Patel who wants to shed his beta Indian guy archetype.
I thought the beginning and end where great but holy shit did it drag in the middle.

The sheer novelty of "people on YouTube are doing a show, like tv!" Was enough to hook a very impressionable younger version of me on The Guild. Didn't hurt that I desperately wanted to fuck Felicia Day after seeing her on Dollhouse. It was a different time.
