I just finished Beef on Netflix (pirate bay, technically, but it's by Netflix)
Maybe I'm just excited cuz I haven't seen a good show since season 4 of Breaking Bad, but I think it's some of the best TV I've seen in my life
Yes, the main character had to be Asian, there's no way else Netflix could have sold an openly Christian and casually racist protagonist without having to have him apologize to their gay little audience.
Culture has very little to do with it, it's just a show about millennial anger, and the absurd situation a whole generation has been put in to where without anger they can't have any kind of clarity in life.
9/10, would have been 10/10 if it ended an episode earlier, not that the last episode is bad.
