It's amazing to me how big Howard was, but how unremarkable the people on the show were. Gary's just a slurpy-lipped doofus. Steve C was far more entertaining.

I agree that Steve was more entertaining than Gary, but Stern beats the fuck out of O&A in every regard besides having Patrice on regularly. O&A wasn't a good show

Howard's always rubbed me the wrong way. It's not even the jewy kvetching or anything. Removed from the zeitgeist of 1990s political incorrectness, he's a bland guy who was obsessed with porn girls.

I like Artie, but I never bought into the comraderie that he showed towards Howard. Artie's a blue collar drunk, and Howard is not; he would have throttled his pencil neck in any other situation. Come to think of it, Artie would have made O&A more popular than Jimmy ever could. Nobody relates to Jim, he's just a degenerate little cunt.

Howard’s show was at is best when Jackie Martling was feeding him lines and Billy west was doing impressions. After he booted them, it became the “Howard interrupts everyone and tries to get women on the sybian” show
