My grandpa is 83 and he is getting a pacemaker put in this week, he can barely walk anyways

what are the odds he dies within the next three years?

He is a real scumbag and used to beat my grandma and mom (drunk from the old country), but he’s loaded and im his favorite grandson so i know something is stashed there for me, he only had 2 kids.
If it’s not 6 figs liquid I’ll be somewhat pissed.

Wealth is weird in my family, it's a tough one. My grandparents that are alive are kinda loaded and the rumor is it's gonna get split between just me and my sister. My parents are poor and I foresee a situation where when one dies the other will probably move into my home. If I get my grandparents money (or land) I'll probably just pay debts and invest the rest. I'm kinda tied to my job, but I wouldn't mind retiring 5-10 years earlier with a reduced pension
