What's the idea behind it? I grew up near some tracks and some guy in a beanie was always standing there with a camcorder when it rode by....I thought he was planning his suicide or something. Didn't realize it was a tard thing.

They're the best 3rd rail train I'm aware of.
I prefer locomotives & I'm peripherally involved with a preservation railway -pictures would risk a self-doxxing & I'm not involved with the trains, although I might start volunteering some time, but I've had cab/engine rides, although I'm less involved nowadays *again, can't say too much or it'll dox me)

I have an uncle who has some kind of autism/aspergers. He was obsessed with trains to the point where he got hit by a truck while trying to watch one cross a bridge when he was a kid. He had to spend like a year in a body cast.
