I've played them for years, currently playing FM23.. 15 years into a Burton Albion playthrough. Managed to get them from League 1 into the Prem within 4 years.. have won the Prem 8 years in a row and have won the CL twice along with 20+ other trophies. Upgraded my youth facilities/coaching into the best in England and keep getting wonderkids through my academy, my chairman is a broke fuck so i am making bank by developing wonderkids and selling them for £50+ (the Dortmund method).. addictive as fuck man. The 4231 gegenpress is OP as fuck still.

Out of the Park Baseball is very similar and it's alright. I wish the franchise modes in the regular sports games had the option to play with a similar amount of depth. I've been meaning to try FM just to see if I could actually get Spurs to win a fucking trophy.

I played this in high school, but it's pretty much just spreadsheets and all in German so I didn't get very far. Seemed very detailed, so if you like the genre it might be worth it past the loffs.

Love the fawkin Football Manager. I go deep with the OOTP too and it does certain things better than FM, but FM is still the best sports simulation game by far. I always pick some shitty lower league club and try to win the Champions League.
