Sounds far fetched I know but with how neutered Pat has been today (he retweeted a paid article in hopes to get attention in hopes of work) I think Niki / her mom sat him down and told him she’s taking his twitter as an ultimatum last chance or she’s leaving. His fat mouth and obsession with twitter has lead him to be virtually un-hire able and now they are on the hook for over 100 grand in legal fees.

Her family has known for a while he doesn’t work, is writing for free (been a year since his last book which flopped) and has zero desire to get a job that is “beneath” him and his creativity. They probably wanted him to get a job while continue to write on the side but Covid delayed that. I’m sure her family had some idea of his “twitter fame” as he brags and weren’t found of his online behavior but now that has cost them over 100k.

Pat was drunk and fighting trolls on twitter until 4am which is the exact behavior that cost him and Niki a ton of money and today he was almost silent. I think he didn’t believe the court ruling was real until his lawyers told him today he's fucked. This of course is very serious as Niki being his wife will be on the hook and could very well lose everything she has. I believe Niki (and her mom) have taken away his twitter toy and will only post approved things like career related tweets and friendly conversations. He’s shown he can’t help himself and until this mess is figured out Pat can’t post without approval. The pig (for the time being) has been neutered.

She probably didn't care about Niki & Pat's situation up until now and was just happy her odd duck kid finally settled down. However, everything changed this week. Patrick is now officially a massive liability to not only Niki but also their entire family. His financial recklessness and emotional instability is dangerous.

I don't doubt that Niki's mom is pressuring Niki to get a divorce and cut her losses. This is a completely toxic situation. Niki's mom isn't complete white trash like Pat's family. She has to be telling Niki it's time to leave.

That’s why I think something serious happened today and it was decided Pat has to have his tweets approved by a second party (Niki) because his stupid twitter toy has now opened them up to some serious problems.

I think Niki and her family ignored Pats twitter obsession for the most part since I’m sure he’s convinced them he’s some big twitter Star and all. They didn’t get it but he wasn’t hurting anyone and it kept him distracted. All the fun and games came to stop with the serious consequences of Pat’s insane behavior. I really think today Niki learned the whole truth of the lawsuit when his lawyers told him he’s fucked. Pat being an idiot seemed to have believed whatever he wanted to hear from his lawyers (this is a long shot case translates to I’m winning big, child) and his frivolous spending of other peoples money was easy because to him it wasn’t “real money” until today.

Niki is now stuck in this shit and she has to protect herself since fat Pat could cost her everything she has. Until the mess is figured out Pat can only tweet what she approves.

I really think you’re right. I’ve long suspected he hasn’t been honest with Big Nik about the reality of what’s happening here and the combination of him obviously screaming/raging/punching/insulting everything and seeing this beautiful thing might have been quite the shock for her.
