You see Ant rant about this to this day. His arguments go from “Candy Crush…ew…fucking faggot game…who the fuck plays that…”, to “Nice yeah you playing Candy Crush on air was REALLY interesting for the show.” to “HE WAS DISREGARDING MY CONTRIBUTIONS WITH PHONE GAMES.”

All the irony of these statements are lost on him. He was sperging out about black people on air due to his insecurity at being a mulatta. He was desperate to be taken seriously as a political pundit to the world and his cohosts. And what do they do? Opie pulls out Candy Crush and lets it be known thats what he’s doing- That he doesn’t give a shit about what Ant is talking about and it’s not a “discussion” - It’s Anthony, and only Anthony, yelling about blacks.

Anthony desperately wanted to be Hannity. He wanted people to see him as more than the funny sidekick, that he had thoughts of his own, and could hold weight as a political pundit. Not just one giving trite centrist takes - he’s telling it like it is. No white guilt here motherfucker. And yet he’s getting stomped on by a fucking phone app. Completely thrown aside and treated as the wop trash he is by his rightful cohost.

In the famous Candy Crush clip, after Ant delusionally yells out “MILLIONS WANT TO HEAR ME SIR - MILLIONS!!!!!!!!” Jimmy chimes in, sounding almost sickly, “I miss Patrice.” The context is lost on Ant once again. “OH ME TOO.” He thinks Jim is referring to Patrices EPIC RACE MENTALITY and how it would destroy this dumb nigger caller. Well, not Patrices ACTUAL views on race. Just the ones where he critiques black people.

No one could stand Anthony at this point. But he was still on O&A. The comedians and guests who disagreed with him and though he was a hateful blowhard retard couldn’t show it, and his cohosts certainly couldn’t either. Ant’s ego was out of control between 2013-2014, and the cracks were showing with Anthony getting into racial rants unprompted with guests from DL Hughley to Bill Burr. The only thing that changed after he was fired was that everyone didn’t have to hide their disdain. It didn’t help that after getting fired, he TRULY stopped being funny altogether. Anyone who could make the justification that he might be a pedo racist ghoul, but was still funny or a good friend? Not anymore.

There’s little to no production value with the podcasts looking like they’re being done over skype, and Rogan was saying all types of Anthony-crazy level stuff like saying blacks are genetically inferior and calling them niggers. The only difference is that Anthony was saying that shit when he already had the million dollar gig. Joe didn’t even imagine 800 episodes later he’d be a multi millionaire with this.

Yeah I wasn’t referring to the money as much as having an image being big enough to be cancelled / having shit to lose. No one cared if the Fear Factor guy called black people apes but apperantely that mattered when he became the biggest podcaster.

I wasn’t a listener of the show back in the day (by the time it was on my family had moved overseas for several years; like Stern, I knew of the show and its players but still have only heard segments). This thread is shedding more light on this sad old man.

He’s so textbook it’s almost funny: Anthony never grew up and still doesn’t want to. I don’t mean grow up as in get married, put on a suit and tie, work a 9 to 5, golf and get to bed every night by 9:30. I mean grow up in terms of owning your shit and doing your best to clean up any mess you make, not blaming others for your failures.

Ant must believe that living as a mature adult would be unbearably painful, and anyway wouldn’t know where to start. But there are places you can go to learn (hate on 12 Step all you want, but it’s where addicts go to learn how to be a person, which their parents often didn’t teach, and those who undertake that work end up with much better, less chaotic, more enjoyable lives because of it).

All Anthony has are transient pleasures like drunkenness and whatever it is he does in his bed with children. Those wear off pretty quickly and then you need a fix fast or you risk being forced to sit with your thoughts and feelings. And someone who has destroyed as much opportunity in their lives as Ant has surely doesn’t want that to happen.

We all could choose a life like his if we wanted to. What Ant doesn’t seem to grasp is that most people don’t envy his life and in fact find it depressing and bleak. Only losers like Geno and his friends think Cumia is cool — but maybe they don’t. Ant might just be a means to more alcohol and drugs for them. But that’s what passes for friendship in his life. It’s quite sad, but it seems to be what he deserves.

I should add that he likely has no desire to do so anyway. His money and somewhat elevated status (in his social circle, anyway) have insulated him from suffering the consequences that usually compel people to change. His closest human relationship is with a woman who lives thousands of miles away. He has bankrolled family members for decades, so they’re not going to say shit to him about his drinking. Hell, apart from Dawn it looks like his entire family is comprised of old drunks.

So now this is Anthony’s ever-shrinking life: a few podcasts a week, getting wasted at bars with losers like Geno, then home to his rank hovel to play video games online with strangers. And he thinks this is an aspirational lifestyle. But his financial means have enabled him to make his own miserable existence every step of the way.

His epitaph should be “Here lies a cautionary tale and pedophile.”
