He doesn't care if it's through the SFWA grant, and won't have any remorse either for losing that union money. I don't care what their contract says either, SFWA is not going after Pat for the money if he loses. The only reason why he's anxious is because he may be on the hook for the $25k sanction. Pat talks out of both sides of his bass mouth in this scenario. In one breath he'll say there's hope the deciding judge could rule in his favor and get Cloudfare's info; the next he says the judge already ruled Quasi can't get anything. Personally, while I'm confident this judge will grant Quasi's motion, I'm 50/50 on if Quasi will get his legal fees back from pig.

Regardless of the legal code in CA, I'm sure it's not unprecedented for a judge in that state to not grant legal fees to be reimbursed due to the outcome of a civil matter. If the judge has the impression (which wouldn't be accurate) that the forum was created to harass Pat, he may use some discretion. With that said I'm 16 and don't know dick about the law.
