Didn’t everyone have a faggot haircut in high school? I had a jersey shore blowout in 2007. In the 90s, it was the boy band highlights or that awful mushroom cut. In the 80s, it was metal hair. 70s, all of my uncles had either perms or were imitating fonzy.

We are all faggots, brother.
Every generation had its trend-followers for sure. But Zoomers in particular seem to really be into conformity on a wide level. It's probably just one of those "amplified by the visibility of the internet" things, but I can't shake the feeling that they truly eschew anything outside of the box or against the grain. At least on a commercial level. If they were giving their money/clicks to different shit, we'd see more of it.
