It baffles me that this retard ever got published in any capacity. There's authors that are brilliant who never saw the fruits of their labor. Take John Kennedy Toole for example. A man who died believing his comedic masterpiece, A Confederacy of Dunces, was a failure, only to have it win a pulitzer prize years after his suicide, and that was after his family had to constantly push and beg for its publication.

It's really odd that he thinks "that's what copyeditors are for, child" is some kind of flex. One because it shouldn't be an editor's job to fix basic spelling and grammar mistakes to make your work readable on a basic level, but also because he hasn't had a book published in about 4 years and even longer since he had an unpaid online oped in some liberal rag.
