Pat is emblematic of the hard left. The hard left doesent really want debates or open dialogues because their irrational and emotional views on everything don’t hold up against scrutiny or facts. In my personal experiences as a Libertarian, I’ve honestly found Conservatives are much more open to talking about things. They also generally will just agree to disagree and not call someone names when they don’t immediately buy into their ideology. Despite the left claiming Conservatives are about taking away freedom, almost every freedom that’s been legislated away, has been so by the left. Seatbelt laws, helmet laws, smoking bans, the right to choose what lightbulbs you use, what gun you can own and use, etc.
