They aren’t anywhere near “getting off the planet” and going to other planets. They likely will never be able to. Certainly old fat billionaires will never be able to. It costs millions a day to keep astronauts on the ISS. Astronauts who dedicated their entire lives to getting there, the absolute best of the best. They can only last months up there. It also takes thousands of ground staff to meticulously check every single facet of the operation continuously to keep them alive.
