Rakdaddy's friend Derek told him this over 2 years ago. He told Rick he was giving the trolls an audience and that's all they want. Rick's response was basically that his tactics are to retweet the trolls so they get more brazen and he can get them banned.

Cut to the present and his little pig brain still can't comprehend that every single time he does this, he's just encouraging whatever rascal it is to keep going. Rick is pushing the rascal's message out to 47,000+ people where if he just ignored it, it might be seen by a dozen or so. Rick also thinks he's "winning" because he gets the account suspended, but again his tiny thinkin' meats just don't comprehend that he spent more time responding to every tweet, retweeting, and doing the whole "Report for impersonation and block" bit than the rascal does making a new account.
