Because i was a broke drug addict and didn’t know they would just settle for a minimum payment plan. Once they started taking 35% i just got an under the table job and THEN replied lol. The choice is pretty easy when youre shooting dope. Pay the court fines…orrrr buy more dope.

Companies need a certain amount of ARR (annual recurring revenue), for operations overhead. It's why everything is a fucking subscription now. If it was just a big debt collection company and they did a background check on you, you got the deadbeat label and they purchased your debt for next to nothing as a "subscription" fee of like 20-100 bucks a month (nice run-on sentence stupid). They have some formula that works for businesses to make money. Even breaking even is fine for a certain percentage to just make payroll and pay utilities. That's why they usually don't give a shit, its just a business.
